The Mackie Thump GO is an 8" battery powered speaker. The Thump GO is a professional speaker that combines the sound of a boombox. The speaker has a powerful 8" bass driver and a 1" compression driver. This combination of speakers is responsible for the fantastic sound. A powerful DSP is built into the Mackie Thump GO speaker. So you can easily adjust the sound to the current situation. or eg. Powerful music output or for a speech at an event.
Built into the Mackie Thump GO is a 2 channel mixer. You can connect mics, guitars, keyboards etc. to the mixer. All settings can be made on the mixer itself or via the Mackie Thump Connect 2 app (iOS or Android). In addition, you can stream music from your phone or tablet via Bluetooth. If you want to be versatile, you of course need a speaker with a battery. Of course, the Mackie Thump GO has this battery built in. The battery has a runtime of up to 12 hours. Should the battery ever be empty, the battery can be quickly changed and the party goes on. The second battery is optionally available!
I was so impressed with my first Mackie thump go that I decided to buy a second one for busking. These are also ideal for playing at live venues provided the venue isn’t too big and when powered with a subwoofer they sound just absolutely brilliant don’t really have anything bad to say about them really maybe one thing that isn’t that big a deal for me but maybe for some is the fact that you can not link them together via Bluetooth unless your using a smartphone to send music via Bluetooth from your phone! I’m also looking forward to purchasing the Mackie thrash go, which is a 12 inch Speaker battery powered speaker.
