The MVCF-I from Majella Audio is an analog filter with Lowpass and Highpass characteristic. Thanks to the OTA design, the filter goes sonically in the direction of old Roland synthesizers without deliberately imitating them. Despite the slope of 12dB the filter tends to a discreet self-oscillation without becoming obtrusive. One control voltage input each with attenuator for cutoff and resonance bring the necessary control of the filtering. The gain control brings the audio signal to the desired level and helps the signal to get a nice and throaty sound. By the way, this is the same filter that does its job in the Implexus synthesizer.
