Analog dual attenuator

The Malekko 8NU8R is an analog dual attenuator for the Eurorack system. As an additional function, the module can be used as a full-wave and half-wave rectifier. Full path rectification means that the amount of the positive and negative components of a signal at the output is displayed. In half-wave or one-way rectification, the current flow is blocked by a diode if the voltage of the signal is below a certain value. If there is no signal at either input, each half of the 8NU8R produces a constant DC voltage (offset) that can be set via the level control. Offsets play a decisive role in the modular system in many applications.
