With the Malekko Richter Envelator you get a multifunctional Envelope Module on analog basis. The module supports AD and AR envelopes and a Cylce mode. In this mode, the Envelator can also be used as an LFO with triangle waves. As part of the Richter series, the module is designed for the Eurorack format.
The Attack and Decay Slopes of the Richter Envelator are individually controllable via CV and Attenuator. The function of the envelope is defined via the three-position switch. In AR mode, an attack release envelope is generated that maintains its highest level until the gate input switches to"low". In AD mode, the decay phase is initiated as soon as the attack phase has been completed. At the end of cycle mode, a pulse signal is sent to the envelope input, which acts as a retrigger
, and cycle mode is also suitable for using the envelope as an LFO with triangle waves.
In this mode, the SQR output acts as a square wave LFO whose pulse width is set via the A and D controls.
This output can also be used for clocking.
The Malekko Richter series consists of a series of modules that offer the same great sounds and the same ergonomics, quality and musicality that made the Wiard 300 series legendary. All modules of the Richter series come from a cooperation with Grant Richter from Wiard and are designed for the Eurorack format.
