The Voyager Drumkits offer Mapex a complete drum kit with all the drums. With this complete setup, consisting of 5 drum kettles and all hardware, the Mapex philosophy "More Drums für´s Money" is once again more than justified. We offer the remaining stock for a hammer price!

The boiler material

Mapex manufactures the Voyager boilers from Basswood, a wood comparable to the local lime tree. Despite its relatively low price, it has excellent sound characteristics and thus provides first-class conditions for use in drum making. All Mapex Voyager drum boilers have a wall thickness of 7.2 mm. The processing quality of both the boiler and the hardware is Mapex typically at the highest level.

The Hardware

The hardware comes from the compact and durable 330 series from Mapex . All stands and tripods of the Voyager sets are high-quality chrome-plated and equipped with large, non-slip rubber feet.

Quality at an entry-level price

The Mapex Voyager drums offer an excellent sound quality and a strong visual appearance. The film finishes are very insensitive and can be easily cleaned if necessary. The extra small "Low Mass" clamping brackets ensure excellent vibration behaviour of the boilers. All Mapex Voyager boilers are equipped with skins from Remo and produce a strong, rich sound.
