The Marshall Code 50 Digital Combo Amplifier is the entry level amplifier for Marshall’s CODE range. It has a 1x12” 50 Watt speaker and the full CODE Marshall-Softube (MST) sonic arsenal – 14 MST preamps, 4 MST power amps and 8 MST speaker cabinets. There are also 24 FX, such as Compressor, Reverb, Distortion, Chorus, Tremolo and more. To contain such a range of options the user has 100 presets to get going instantly. A CODE footswitch is available separately to give even easier access to your setups during live performance/studio recording.

Initially I was looking for some tube amps, but I decided to go with the Marshall Code 50, after considering that I will need more variety of colors of the sound in my case. I got it in pair with the Code foot-switch, and man this is a so nice amplifier. I use it with Gibson Les Paul guitar, and I am nothing more than thrilled!
The variety of sounds is astonishing, and one advise, if you have to use it indoors, be aware it's VERY LOUD amp and windows rattle.
This combo is very good for both the beginner and the knowledgeable musician. A huge number of combinations of sounds and their quality at the highest level.
As a 2 year beginner decided to upgrade to a better sounding equipment. Received and am very satisfied with this as the possibilities are enormous. Think this is the way to go for understanding where do you want to move further with your sound. What tube amp to buy, which pedals to use.
