The Marshall Electornics CV506 Full HD camera combines in this version all frame rates of older versions, which were released separately for the US and the European market. As a result, the compact CV506 is much more flexible, allowing frame rates of 60, 59.94, 29.97, 25, 24 and 23.98 for and outputting recordings via 3G-SDI and HDMI. Furthermore, the camera has newly developed HD sensors that work with over 20% more pixels. Thanks to state-of-the-art video processors, you get razor-sharp images with excellent color reproduction. At the same time, you benefit from consistent noise reduction and reliable compliance with strict SMPTE standards.
In addition to the new design, made of solid yet lightweight steel for better protection of the high-quality sensors and circuit boards, the audio mic / line-level function (stereo) is also an innovation, while setting options for white clip and black level enhancement have been significantly expanded.
The camera is rounded off by wireless configuration options for the settings via RCP and Camera Control software, various adjustment options for the base, white clip, exposure, white balance, etc., as well as the ultra-low sensitivity of the colors to light.
