The combination of a solid spruce top and back, together with solid sapele sides, gives the guitar a balanced, expressive tone with clear trebles, warm mids and a well-defined bass foundation. Supported by the Scalloped X Bracing, the top responds with exceptional freedom and develops a lively dynamic range that brings out the finest nuances of the playing. This playing experience is complemented by an East Indian rosewood fingerboard, whose smooth surface supports precise finger movements.

With the integrated Martin E-1 pickup system, the 000-10E Shawn Mendes is always ready for amplified performance. The system transmits the guitar’s natural tonal character in rich detail to amplifiers or PA systems, ensuring an authentic acoustic sound. The controls, discreetly positioned in the soundhole, allow volume, tone and phase to be adjusted quickly and easily to suit the playing situation. A built-in tuner also enables the instrument to be tuned quickly.
