The Vintage Tone System (VTS), in which the woods undergo a complex heat treatment, promises the incomparable dynamics and smooth sound development of an instrument played over several decades. With the "Modified Low Oval" profile, the FSC-certified mahogany neck also fits comfortably in the hand, while the FSC-certified ebony fingerboard with its flat string position makes every note disappear with ease.

The unmistakable Fishman Blackstack pickup in the sound hole makes the Martin CEO 8.2E ideal for increased use on stage or in recording studios. The passive stacked humbucker, whose characteristics have been perfectly tuned for use with acoustic guitar strings made of bronze or phosphor bronze, impresses with a strong vintage sound image that captures the dynamics and warmth of solid woods with detailed naturalness.

While the headstock of the Martin CEO 8.2E features classic Grover Vintage tuners for a precise and stable tuning, Martin uses a real high-end material for the liquid metal bridge pins. Due to the special, amorphous metal structure, the bridge pins have a particularly high stability, which is also noticeable in sound due to a slightly increased volume.
