This guitar, built in the classic 14-fret dreadnought shape, uses a traditional tonewood combination of a Sitka Spruce top for quick attack and clear definition, and a laminated Koa body, known for warm, mid pronounced sounds. The neck is made of Select Hardwood with a Performing Artist neck profile for comfortable chord playing. The 20-fret fretboardmade of FSC-certified Richlite presents classic Martin 28 Style Pattern Dot Inlaysmade of mother-of-pearl. In addition, the Martin Guitars D-12E Koa uses a Fishman MX-T pickup system with integrated tuner to be ready at all times for first-class recordings or for amplification on stage.
