With the Martin D12-35 50th Anniversary 12-String the guitar builder from Nazareth, Pennsylvania celebrates the 50th birthday of the famous D-35 model and combines the powerful sounding bracing of the Vobilds with the advantages of the twelve-string. For the traditional Martin sound, a classic tonewood top made of FSC-certified Sitka spruce is used, which, thanks to the patented Vintage Tone System (VTS) torrefication, has both the appearance and vibration characteristics of well-functioning tops. Finally, the D12-35 is complemented by a solid body of East Indian rosewood, which ensures tight mids and basses. Of course, the anniversary instrument comes with a hardshell case and 50th anniversary body label. But fans and collectors should not hesitate: The Martin D12-35 50th Anniversary is limited to exactly 183 pieces - the exact number of the first D-35 production run of 1965!
