Martin's instruments in the style of the legendary D-28 are considered a prime example of a successful dreadnought. The classical construction with the neck and body transition at the 14th fret has already convinced music superstars like Elvis Presley and is still used today as the primary instrument by many singer/songwriters.
The DC-28E represents the sound image resulting from solid spruce and East Indian rosewood with present treble reproduction and quickly responding basses and also has a cutaway for better accessibility of the high registers. A Fishman Aura VT Enhance pickup system is also on board, which means that this variant of the D-28 can also be used as a stage instrument.
