Woods and construction

A partially solid construction consisting of a Sitka spruce top and a body made of strikingly grained ziricote produces a powerful tone that unfolds quickly and across all frequencies thanks to a flat scalloped-X bracing. A wafer-thin high-gloss finish is instrumental in rapid sound development and also allows the observer a deep look at the coarsely marbled grain of the wood. Obliging playability is provided by a Select Hardwood neck, which thanks to a Performing Artist profile is easy to grip in all 20 frets, which are set into a black Richlite fingerboard. To ensure clean intonation throughout the 645 mm scale length, the manufacturer relies on a compensated saddle made of GraphTech TUSQ and a 44.45 mm wide nut made of White-Corian, whose fine notches are perfectly matched to the saddle. Closed chrome tuners additionally ensure easy tuning of the 6 steel strings, which are fixed with plastic pins in a Richlite bridge.
