A likewise sustainable soft shell case complements the special model and an excellent transport and storage option.

Martin OM Biosphere Front

Plastic-free and 100% FSC-certified: with sustainability against climate change.

To draw attention to the dramatic climate change, Martin manufactures the or Biosphere, a guitar produced and designed in a completely sustainable way according to the strictest criteria. This is already the second eco-friendly model in the manufacturer's range after the Martin OOL Earth and one of the results of its numerous projects to make guitar construction ecological and future-oriented. This is a completely plastic-free and 100% FSC-certified guitar that will delight responsible guitarists.

An attractive design for mindfulness and responsibility

The absolute premium feature here is the artistically stunning top, whose Ocean Scene motif was specially designed by artist Robert Goetzl. This masterpiece specifically emphasizes Martin's support for saving the precious, biodiverse coral reefs and recalls their high importance to the ecosystem through music.

"There's so much that we can do as individuals to fight climate change in our daily lives, yet we are continually looking for ways that our company can inspire musicians and their fans to take action. Not just on Earth Day, but every day. Music has always been a powerful tool for bringing people together for change." - Christian Frederick Martin IV (CEO Martin Guitars)

Martin OM Biosphere Back

Exquisite tonewoods

In addition to their clear message, the manufacturer guarantees passionate and environmentally conscious acoustic guitarists and naturally also with the or Biosphere the proven Martin quality. Here, the excellent sound is shaped especially by the tonewoods used here, which give it a balanced character with the necessary assertiveness. Thus, the solid sapele body provides a bright tone with warm mids and basses, while the solid top made of Sitka spr uce adds a soft sound character with excellent treble response. Innovation is also demonstrated by the Scalloped-X bracing, which gives the top better vibration response for higher volume thanks to its lower-centered slats. Singer-songwriters in particular are delighted with these versatile sound results, which lend their compositions maximum expressiveness and authenticity.

Time-tested for a comfortable playing feel

The mahogany neck is definitely a popular classic in guitar making, as the wood type is an optimal choice for this demanding guitar part due to its stability and a pleasant weight. Thus, in combination with its Modified-Low-Oval profile and the nut width of 44.5 mm, the neck fits well in the hand, while the velvety ebony fingerboard allows for effortless gliding of the picking hand over all 20 frets. Meanwhile, nickel-plated open-gear tuners and the durable ebony bridge with bone inlay ensure high tuning stability and pure playing pleasure.
