Korina V-Body & Big-'C' Neck

The Maybach Jetwing is built from solid Korina wood, a tonewood prized not only for its striking appearance but also for its distinctive tonal character – rich, warm, and well-balanced. Its traditional set-neck construction, with a carefully crafted glue joint between neck and body, enhances sustain and resonance, contributing to the guitar’s dynamic response. The neck, built in a robust 1950s-style profile, offers a solid yet comfortable feel, providing natural thumb support for stable playing across all positions of the rosewood fingerboard. Outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets, the Jetwing is designed for expressive, controlled playability in both rhythm and lead roles.

Amber Spirit or '59 & Supernova Custom

The two Amber humbuckers on the Maybach Jetwing offer a remarkably wide tonal range, delivering first-class sound across nearly every genre. In the neck position, the Amber Spirit of ’59, wound in the classic P.A.F. style, captures the warmth and nuance of late '50s tones – perfect for vocal jazz lines and articulate chord work. In contrast, the Amber Supernova Custom in the bridge delivers increased output thanks to its hotter coil windings, making it ideal for everything from classic rock to modern high-gain applications.
