The Maybach Lester Black Velvet '54 Custom is a 6-string aged electric Les Paul-style guitar featuring a carved maple top, a mahogany neck, an Indian rosewood fingerboard, and a black velvet finish. Modelled after the shapes and neck profiles used in 1954 and from ’57 to ’59, this guitar produces the magical sound redefined by guitarists in the 60s, encapsulating Peter Green to Slash.

Equipped with Amber Spirit of 59 humbucker pickups, the Lester Black Velvet delivers a vintage sound with a lively nasal tone on a strong bass foundation, yet capable of producing a shimmering high-end. Hand-wound, these pickups deliver the classic rootsy rock sound. This guitar is built with a massive mahogany body yet weighs less than 4kg.
