Outfitted with two traditionally wound P-90 pickups – crafted by German pickup expert Wolfgang Damm of Amber Pickups in classic soapbar style – the Lester Junior '56 Singlecut delivers raw, gritty single-coil tones that are perfect for refined blues-rock riffs. To achieve an authentic vintage sound, historically accurate materials such as enamel-coated AWG42 wire and Alnico magnets are used. The guitar’s construction stays true to its roots, featuring a solid mahogany body with a set-in mahogany neck and a traditional rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. Complementing its retro tone and feel, the hardware includes a wraparound bridge and Kluson tuners with vintage-style tulip buttons, rounding out the guitar's timeless aesthetic.
