Traditional construction and Aged finish

The Texonian T61’s defining aesthetic is its hand-applied Aged Nitrocellulose finish in striking Miami Green. Carefully relic’d to resemble a well-loved vintage guitar, the finish not only adds visual character but also promotes optimal resonance by allowing the wood to breathe. The bolt-on maple neck, carved to a substantial "Big C" profile, offers an era-correct 7.25" fretboard radius for smooth bends and effortless chording – perfect for players who appreciate a classic feel under the fingers.

Amber pickups

At the heart of the Texonian T61’s tone are two Amber Twangtone 50 single coils, hand-wound in Germany for unmistakable vintage clarity. Utilizing Alnico V magnets and plain enamel wire, these pickups deliver sharp attack, rich mids, and just the right bite in the treble range. Whether you’re picking through a twangy country run, digging into bluesy licks, or riding gritty rock chords, these pickups faithfully channel the sound of the '50s and '60s. A classic 3-way switch, along with master volume and tone controls, gives you intuitive access to a wide tonal palette.

High-quality Vintage-Style hardware

Keeping with the retro aesthetic, Maybach equips the Texonian T61 with vintage-style hardware that performs to modern expectations. A Wilkinson bridge with brass saddles provides rock-solid tuning stability and enhanced sustain, while ensuring clean intonation across all six strings.
