A tribute to the modern is the six-way neck binding, which guarantees a particularly robust connection to the body and thus supports the harmonically crisp sound of the four-stringer. In addition, the slim "C" neck profile and the rounded 7.5" fingerboard radius (191 mm) promise agile handling with a vintage feel.

The electric sound conversion of the Mayones Jabba 422 MN Vintage White is done by two Nordstrand NJ4SE pickups, which are split-coil humbuckers with the typical single-coil character without being susceptible to noise. Accordingly, the four-string convinces with a well-defined sound, whose versatility ranges from the rich bass foundation of the middle pickups to the wiry assertiveness of the bridge pickup. For precise adjustment of the sound, an active Mayones Mayo M-BP2 2-band tone control is also on board, which can be bypassed for the pure passive sound of the bass if desired.
For precise and stable tuning, the Mayones Jabba 422 is equipped with Hipshot Ultralite tuners.
