The Patriot VF 5 Trans Purple Horizon Matt is a handmade one-off from the Mayones electric guitar forge in Gdańsk, Poland and is characterized by a unique Transparent Purple Horizon finish and the multiscale fingerboard, which enables a scale length of 34" - 37". The high-quality tonewoods have been carefully crafted for this model and offer excellent handling. In addition, three Velvetron Stark humbuckers provide a solid sound, while the active Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp with 3-band EQ provides a wide sound palette. The Patriot VF 5 therefore unfolds its full potential, particularly in the metal realm - but can naturally be used optimally for countless other genres.

Body and neck

The Patriot VF 5 consists of a body made of swamp ash, while the top made of curly maple allows a chic grain to shine through under the Transparent Purple Horizon finish. The five-striped wenge/amaranth neck offers comfortable handling and carries the multiscale fingerboard made of wenge, which is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets and offers a 20" fingerboard radius. The multiscale scale ranges from 34" to 37" and allows a defined sound even with low tunings - high-pitched riffs remain crisp and articulate.

Velvetrone Stark Humbucker

At the heart of the Patriot VF 5 are three Velvetrone Stark humbuckers, which allow for a massive sound. The pickups provide almost limitless power and offer a dense sound that precisely handles the low-end components without sounding muddy in the low frequencies. In addition, the mids remain present and deliver a clear response. Furthermore, the E-Bass is equipped with an active Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp, which provides a 3-band EQ to fine-tune the sound to the last detail.

Mayones Single Saddle Bridge and Schaller M4 tuners

For a robust string action, a Mayones Single Saddle Bridge was installed in the Patriot VF 5, which has a string spacing of 18 mm. In addition, the Schaller M4 tuners allow reliable tuning and, in combination with the single saddle bridge, enable clean intonation. Other hardware features include Schaller Security strap buttons and .044 - .128 factory strings.
