Traditional Bronze Gong

The Meinl Chau Tam Gong 22" is a bronze tam tam gong. The gong is made in China using the traditional techniques that have been used for gong making for centuries. The special bronze alloy used in the process gives the gong a wide tonal range, from a sustained hum, to a deep rumble, to loud, explosive crashes. They are versatile and harmonize with other gongs and instruments.
