The new RAPC Bongos offer something special: the shell are not made in the traditional barrel style construction, but similar to conventional drum shells, it is made up of multiple layers of wood (in this case 5) and glued. This makes the shells much more light weight yet robust and develop exceptional resonating characteristics.
