"When designing this stick, it was really important to me to create something that suited my playing style. I play a lot with Double strokes, so it was crucial to have a stick that had the right weight and shape to get the right rebound on any surface - whether Hi-Hat or stand tom - and still remain balanced enough not to feel too big or heavy. To achieve this, we took inspiration from marching sticks that I knew from my drumline days, and then evolved that with a design and size that works for the drum set. I'm absolutely thrilled with what we've achieved, thanks to the great team at Meinl Stick & Brush."
