The Meinl African Talking Drum ATD-M is made from a single piece of solid mahogany and has carvings all over to give it an authentic African signature. The heads are made of hand selected goat skins and are secured with nylon cord which allows for change in tone or pitch when squeezed by hand, providing the classic African talking drum sound.
