MEINL Timba TIM1435AB-M

The Meinl TIM1435AB-M Timba is made using traditional latin techniques wonderful piece of percussion usually heard in samba. This particular drum is popular with Samba schools where patterns share similar traits with that of a Djembes. It made using a lightweight shell of Poplar Wood and a synthetic drum head which can easily be tuned or replaced thanks to its simple mechanical lugs. The tonal properties of this instrument are best described as bright and clear with plenty of attack.
