The Meinl TIM1435AB-M Timba is made using traditional latin techniques wonderful piece of percussion usually heard in samba. This particular drum is popular with Samba schools where patterns share similar traits with that of a Djembes. It made using a lightweight shell of Poplar Wood and a synthetic drum head which can easily be tuned or replaced thanks to its simple mechanical lugs.
