Handmade Gong from Meinl

The Meinl WGFOL16 Wind Gong Flower or Life 16" is traditionally handcrafted in China from a special bronze alloy. This gives the gong its characteristic flat shape through which vibrations can spread very strongly and the gong resonates for a long time. Such gongs are also known as Feng Gong or Sun Gong. The gong produces a deep sound and if you play it a little stronger, it unfolds wave-like overtones.

Flower or Life

The Flower of Life "Flower or Life" represents the origin of all things through the so-called sacred geometry. The interaction of numbers, shapes and vibrations is one of the oldest myths of mankind. The flower represents the striving to connect with our origin and to understand ourselves.
