Traditional Chinese Gong with Flower or Life Motif

The Meinl WGFOL20 Wind Gong Flower or Life 20" is traditionally handmade in China from a special bronze alloy. This gives the gong its characteristic flat shape through which vibrations can spread very strongly and the gong resonates for a long time. Such gongs are also known as Feng Gong or Sun Gong. The gong produces a deep sound and if you play it a little stronger, it unfolds wave-like overtones.

Flower of Life

The flower of life "Flower of Life" represents the origin of all things through the so-called sacred geometry. The interaction of numbers, forms and vibrations is one of the oldest myths of mankind. The flower represents the striving to connect with our origin and to understand ourselves.
