The Mesa/Boogie Mark IIC+ Head is a faithful reissue of one of the most influential guitar amps in rock history. As the third stage in the legendary Mark series, it features a single-channel design with two switchable operating modes for clean and lead tones. The shared EQ with complementary gain and master controls allows precise adjustment of both modes, while the integrated 5-band graphic EQ enables fine-tuning for specific tonal preferences. The Mark IIC+ covers a wide range of sounds, from clear, dynamic cleans to high-resolution, articulate high-gain tones.
The power amplifier can operate in Simul-Class mode with 75 watts for maximum headroom, or in Class A mode with 25 watts for earlier power amp clipping and lower volume levels. An integrated tube-driven spring reverb and a serial, buffered effects loop expand its versatility for studio and stage use. The complete amp signal, including preamp and power amp, can be accessed via the slave output for external processors or wet/dry setups. Footswitchable functions for mode, EQ, and reverb provide flexible control during live performance.
