The i2-mini 32 keyboard from Miditech is a USB masterkeyboard in ultra-compact format, for all those who are looking for a compact small masterkeyboard to carry their ministudio in their hand luggage. In addition to 32 velocity-sensitive mini keys, this keyboard offers direct access to the most important functions: octave +/- buttons, transpose +/- buttons, volume slider, pitch bend and modulation wheel. Data output is via the supplied MIDI jack adapter.

For the money it’s a no brainier. Keys a little flat and there’s no fancy features but what do you want for £38. It’s fine for transcribing or orchestrating on the go and it is relatively small. Shame it uses an old type B USB though and not USB c or micro usb, seems a bit clunky for the size. No issues and does what it claims to do. No drivers required for Mac which is nice. The sustain pedal input seems a bit stupid though, like putting a cat flap on a balcony.
