The Mollenhauer 1295 Prima Alto Recorder is made from a combination of strong plastic for the headjoint, and pear wood for the body. It delivers a warm wooden sound and strikes a convincing balance of price and performance. The 1295 features Baroque Double-Holes and is designed with F-tuning.
Mollenhauer 1295 Prima Alto Recorder Baroque (Pearwood)I have been playing alto recorder for 7 months and this is my second recorder purchase, my first being a plastic yamaha recorder which was a bargain at around £30. I think this is a really excellent next upgrade, now I am committed to playing. It has a lovely sound especially on the lower notes and feels gorgeous to use. The mouthpiece is very comfortable and is easily washed after playing. I am really very pleased with it and think it is excellent value for money.
A very nice flute. Simple and clean design yet sounds great. The price is very fair compared to what you get. A very convenient and compact bag to carry the instrument.
The shipping was slow, it took 6 weeks to arrive to Israel.
