Setting options:

• Guided calibration - just a few questions, the answers lead to a balanced sound. During the guided calibration, you will be asked simple questions about the room situation and the positioning of the speakers. The Neumann.Control app adjusts the frequency response of the loudspeakers for you.
• Manual calibration - a fully parametric 8-band EQ for experts. Manual calibration gives experts the freedom to adjust each speaker with EQ, Level gain and group delay according to their wishes.
• Automatic calibration - adjustment according to scientific standards. For this method, you also need the Neumann MA 1 measurement microphone, an interface with microphone input and a computer. The free Neumann software guides you through the multi-stage calibration process and then optimally adjusts the overall system. The measurement curve is stored in the KH 750 and can also be used without a computer.

Compact, DSP-controlled closed subwoofer

The Neumann KH 750 DSP is a high-class 10" subwoofer with a closed cabinet and DSP. Thanks to its small dimensions, it is very easy to set up and offers extremely deep bass reproduction down to below 18Hz. Thanks to its powerful DSP, it can be adjusted entirely according to the user's wishes using the Neumann.Control app via iPad. The KH 750 is the ideal complement to Neumann's small loudspeakers (KH 80, KH 120), which it expands into a full-range monitoring system. It also noticeably reduces the load on the KH 310, so that they play tidier and even clearer, and even the KH 420 benefits from the DSP of the KH 750 when the system is calibrated. The DSP and bass management system introduced by Neumann with the KH 750 is certainly one of the most interesting innovations in the field of pro audio in recent years.

Calibration made easy

The aforementioned app allows full access to additional DSP functions of the KH 750 DSP via a conventional IP network; e.g. via WLAN to the router and from the router via LAN to the subwoofer. Speaker systems can be defined and centrally controlled from mono to 3D audio. The app is particularly helpful for beginners with small recording rooms, because small rooms are naturally particularly affected by sound degradation due to room modes etc.
