I use this product to attach a digital handheld recorder to a mic stand. My recorder is held securely, is protected by the rubber pad and can be easily adjusted to any angle. It's sturdy and well-made, certainly robust enough to survive touring, and I'm very pleased with it.
It damaged the threads on my microphone stand as the metal threads on this adaptor weren't an exact fit with the plastic ones on my stand, and it cut through them. It's also made of excessively heavy metal.
