The Numark M101 USB Black is effortlessly connected to a computer, turntable or CD player. It is the optimal solution for beginners as well as more advanced DJs who are looking for a robust 2-channel USB mixer. Installed in a rack or as desktop device, it delivers the basis for a great performance.
An integrated 2-band EQ delivers effective sound manipulation in order to quickly adapt to any room or to give a tracks a particular tone. Two switchable stereo phono/line inputs, cross-fader, 6.3mm microphone input and stereo RCA connections offer versatile possibilities. The integrated USB port allows for connection to Mac or Windows, in order to record your live performance or edit it further.
It also works in reverse. The Numark M101 USB Black is capable, to transmit audio signals from the computer. Its compact dimensions, robust construction and flexible features, the Numark M101 USB Black is ready to be real work horse.
The mixer is great, perfect for bedroom Djs. Well made and high quality.
But supposedly this is a UK store (they have a branch in Romford) but they sent me an EU plug version of the mixer which uses an adapter to plug into UK mains. They supplied the adapter too, so it all works, it's just a bit weird and it means that the plug sticks up about 3 or 4 inches with the various bits.
I already had this mixer which I purchased six years ago from a local DJ store and love its performance! Great sound and super easy to use. The only thing was it started to sound distorted so I purchased the same brand and model from a European store but this one came with the Euro plug which I can't use in the United States, but it didn't come with an adapter. Don't know what to do!
I dusted of my vinyl and my decks and realised I wanted to mix again. The Numark M101 is ideal for getting back into it. Great value and great sound. Very easy to use. A must for any budding or bedroom DJ.
Easy to use, and fast delivery. The only downside is it came with a european plug which it didn't state in the description, but did come with an adapter for it.
The device is ok, functions as advertised but it only has very basic sound equalizing functionality. Even the DB indicator feels a bit too basic (4 levels). The USB input is neat, good option for beats playing while scratching. The knobs and fader controls feel good, smooth and clear. Considering it's price I'd say it's great, just don't get it for post-production or mastering.
