Nux Pedals '59 Bassguy Overdrive Demo:
NUX '59 Bassguy - Overdrive in the style of the legendary 1959 Bassman amp
With the '59 Bassguy, NUX launches another model from the popular reissue series - and is dedicated to none other than the legendary 1959 Bassman amp, which enjoys cult status not only among woofers but also among guitarists. The pedal relies on a purely analog circuit and combines a warm vintage tone with an authentic response. Three controls for volume, gain and master offer intuitive control over dynamics, saturation and output level, while the jump switch simulates the typical "jumpering" of the normal and bright channels - an effect that was originally created by bridging two inputs on the original amp and can now be conveniently activated using a toggle switch. The '59 Bassguy allows you to choose between soft, restrained Drive and aggressive, treble-rich crunch - ideal for classic blues and rock riffs, but also for modern vintage fans with a sense of authenticity. The robust metal housing in a handy standard format makes the pedal the perfect companion on the board, while the true bypass circuit ensures unadulterated sound as soon as the pedal is deactivated. or in front of the amp, as a recording tool or as an effect in the FX loop - the '59 Bassguy brings the zeitgeist of the late 50s directly into modern setups.
