Structure & Sound

Due to its 4/4 construction, the BYWSM has a large soundbox that produces a full volume of sound. The ebony body is complemented by a solid spruce top, the most popular wood for guitar tops. The hard, inelastic nature of the material results in a well-vibrating sound body that guarantees lasting pleasure for the ears. Thus, the spruce enriches the sound and round, soft tones as well as distinctive highs. This clearly defined sound is ideal for numerous musical genres.

Comfortable construction for long playing sessions

Playability

Comfort was also a top priority for this model. Thus, the matte mahogany neck with a pleasant weight lies well in the hand. At the same time, the saddle with its width of 48 mm meets the criteria required for flatpicking and strumming. A new type of cutaway also offers unhindered access to the higher registers. The player-friendly beveled armrest stands out in particular, providing a comfortable rest for the forearm. Thanks to it, long performances and jam sessions can be mastered in a completely relaxed manner.

Electronics

For perfectly tuned stage shows, the guitar is equipped with the Clasica Blend Electronics pickup system from Fishman/Ortega. The system ensures an undistorted transmission and, in addition to a volume control, has a 3-band equalizer for individual adjustment of bass, midrange and treble. These allow precise tuning to ambient conditions and personal preferences. The integrated tuner ensures constant sound reliability.

Design

The visual design of the guitar doesn't leave anything out either. The Natural high-gloss finish brings out the grain of the woods well, while the white ebony body stands out. In addition, the abalone bindings with the recessed armrest of flamed acacia are perfectly matched to the abalone-acacia rosette. The guitar is given a personal touch by the artist with a characteristic hat inlay on the twelfth fret and the laser-engraved signature on the headstock.
