The Ortega Deep Series D8CE-4 Black Top comes in the trendy Finish with a colorfully contrasting top from the usual Natural Finish and convinces at the same time with fat acoustic bass sounds and a stage-ready full equipment. The electro-acoustic bass guitar in Jumbo design delivers thanks to the laminated spruce top and the laminated mahogany body a powerful Bass sound with perfectly dosed treble for the accompaniment of acoustic Jam sessions or unplugged gigs. While the slim mahogany neck and the large Cutaway promise first-class playing characteristics up to the highest fret, the integrated Ortega MagusPRO/B pickup system allows the use with a bass amplifier or playing directly into the mixer or audio interface.

For the construction of the Deep Series D8CE-4 Black Top, Ortega relies on a 32" medium scale length (812 mm) in addition to traditional woods, which not only supports the amazingly grown-up sound of the four-stringer, but also promises a natural playing feel with familiar string tension. The jumbo body made of laminated mahogany with laminated spruce top also provides a sonorous sound with a deep bass foundation and a silky treble spectrum. Thanks to the generous cutaway, the mahogany neck can be easily played up to the highest positions of the walnut fingerboard, which with 45 mm nut width also offers plenty of space for cleanly grasping notes and chords.

Stage-ready with MagusPRO/B pickup system

Ortega also equips the Deep Series D8CE-4 Black Top with the MagusPRO/B pickup system, which makes the acoustic bass ideally suited for shows with amplifier use or for recording Studio. Here the pickup convinces with a particularly natural output of the instrument sound. The 3-band equalizer allows you to precisely adjust the tone color, while the phase switch helps to eliminate unwanted feedback problems. In addition, the integrated tuner together with the precise die-cast tuning machines allows for fast and accurate tuning of the Deep Series D8CE-4 Black Top acoustic bass from Ortega.
