With the Raven banjo series Ortega now finally presents banjos manufactured in the usual quality!

For the frame and the neck has been agreed for the use of mahogany wood. The rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets is pleasant to play and offers furthermore an original Remo skin as well as an engraved armrest. In addition, the Ortega OBJE250OP-SBK banjo is equipped with a passive pickup with volume control, which makes it easy to amplify the instrument at gigs.

All models in the Raven series are finished in semi-matte black and fitted with D'Addario strings. The OBJE250OP-SBK is the Open back version of the OBJ250 and comes without a resonator.
