The Ortofon 2M Red Premounted or SH-4 Black convinces as an entry-level system of the 2M series with an open, dynamic sound and a pleasant fundamental warmth, which makes the system from the house of Ortofon an absolute all-rounder. In this variant, it was pre-mounted on an Ortofon SH-4 Black headshell. With an output voltage of 5.5 mV, it offers optimal sound reproduction and sound accuracy. The bodies of the 2M series are made of Hopelex, which brings a high rigidity and prevents unwanted resonances during the output. pickup of the 2M series also feature Ortofon's Split Pole Pin technology. This allows the moving magnet systems to achieve a frequency response that is as flat as that of moving coil pickups.
