With the Ovation 2714LTD-VIP Europe Special Folklore 6-String, the American pioneer of electro acoustic guitars revives the popular Folklore design in a modernised form. For a particularly lively and full sound, Ovation relies on a solid top made of torrefied spruce and a deep-contour lyrachord GS body with neck transition at the 12th fret. Thanks to the cutaway, the five-piece mahogany-maple neck can be played easily up to the highest positions of the ebony fingerboard. Naturally the Ovation 2714LTD-VIP Europe Special Folklore comes with a fully stage-ready pickup system that delivers a multi-faceted sound spectrum with natural dynamics thanks to the Ovation VIP-5 preamp with Virtual Image Processing. The Embergher-style window headstock features traditional open-gear tuners for precise and stable tuning.

The centrepiece of the Ovation 2714LTD-VIP Europe Special Folklore is obviously the deep contour body made of Lyrachord GS, which thanks to its generous contours fits comfortably to the body. In combination with the solid top made of torrefied Sitka spruce, the lyrachord body also promises a surprisingly loud and dynamic sound, which expressively implements finger-picking and chord strumming with tight basses, detailed mids and highs rich in overtones.

The innovative Ovation VIP pickup system, which consists of the OCP-1K pickup under the saddle and the active preamp in the frame, makes the Ovation 2714LTD-VIP Europe Special the perfect choice for amplified stage use or recording studio sessions. The pickup system convinces with a particularly natural and detailed output. Virtual Image Processing also allows images of the most popular Ovation sounds to be mixed in, so that in conjunction with the 3-band EQ, the tone can be precisely adjusted.
