The Ovation 2778AX 6-String Bowl Back Electro Acoustic Guitar New England Burst from the Standard Elite series features a hand-selected, deluxe AA solid Spruce top with scalloped bracing and Ovation’s Contour Bowl composite body, which maximizes acoustic output and is ergonomically designed for comfort in any playing position.
Ovation’s pioneering multi-soundhole design enhances string vibration and sustain by improving soundboard efficiency. The guitar’s upper-bout soundholes are inlaid with exotic hardwoods and a cutaway offers full access to the satin-finished, five-piece Mahogany/Maple neck. The Standard Elite’s OP-Pro preamp and OCP-1K pickup produce uncompromising plugged-in performance.
