PDP Black Nickel Steel Snare 10"x6"Bough this snare to upgrade on my cocktail kit. Sonically this is one of the best 10” snares out there. Due to the size, there is a narrow tuning range where you get body into the sound, but when you find it it really cuts through.
Snare straps could have been better if they were ribbon as opposed to plastic, there is a wrinkling sound when throwing the snare, but this can be done by the owner, so no big deal. Mag throw is lovely &the fine thread tuning rods make a real difference.
Very happy, even considering the price!
