The DW PDP Concept Maple CM7 Drumset in Satin Charcoal Burst is a high quality drum set made of maple and is designed for beginners and advanced drummers with high demands, who value high-end workmanship at a fair price. The drum shells consist, except for the 10-ply snare, of seven layers of maple, resulting in connection with the high-quality shell hardware, the suspension tom mounts and the Remo heads in a projection-rich, warm sound, which satisfies even professionals. A professional hardware package is also included.
Among the features of this set are proven DW innovations such as the Tom Mount suspension, which allows the drum shells to unfold maximum resonance, True Pitch tuning rods and professional cast claws for the bass drum. The snare drum is also fully equipped with the finest DW has to offer. The proven MAG throw-off system guarantees a perfect hold for the wires while being very easy to use. With its dual-turret lugs, the snare drum not only looks elegant, but also has another feature that gives it unlimited sound variety.
The shells consist of seven layers of maple wood, which means the sound is extremely rich, dynamic and warm. The shells are equipped with Remo head and with precisely balanced steel hoops by Drum Workshop. This makes them very stable drums with a deep and balanced drum sound.
The matte Satin Charcoal Burst of this PDP Concept Maple set is something very special: The maple shells are provided with an elaborate fade finish. In combination with the great Chrome hardware this paint is just as good as the finishes of the DW Collectors series - except the price!
