The DW PDP PDP Snare Drum 14"x4" is an Eric Hernandez signature model and is made of European maple. The Piccolo Snare is equipped with maple reinforcement rings on both sides of the shell, the hardware is gold-plated. The PDP Snare also features the proven True-Pitch tuning rods and a classic DW Mag Throw-Off. The batter head is an Emperor Ebony head, which emphasizes the short and crisp sound and gives it a certain depth. Eric Hernandez is the brother of Bruno Mars and has been drumming in the phenomenal Bruno Mars live band for years, delivering a powerful funk sound without compromise. The PDP Maple-Snare has a very short, but nevertheless loud and crisp basic character. The funky snare sound is rounded off by lively treble that create a high assertiveness. The PDP Signature snare drum can be used as a side snare or as a main snare. The badge is signed by Eric Hernandez and additionally has a Panda logo printed on.
