The body is made of mahogany, while the solid maple top adds visual appeal with its lively grain. The four-bolt maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and the signature Bird inlays. Modern humbucker tones

Tone is delivered by two PRS 85/15 humbuckers, personally designed by Paul Reed Smith for a modern, versatile sound. They provide clear, dynamic tones on both clean and overdriven amps, with deep yet articulate lows, vocal mids, and silky highs that respond to every nuance of playing. Using the push/pull tone knob, both humbuckers can be split to produce authentic single-coil tones with bell-like clarity and shimmering overtones, greatly expanding the guitar’s tonal palette.
