MT15 Guitar Amplifier Head
MT15 15/7W Guitar Amplifier Head
The PRS MT15 Guitar Amplifier Head is a signature tube amplifier for electric guitar, and a collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and Mark Tremonti. This compact head won a Best in Show Award when it debuted at NAMM 2018, and can switch between 15W and 7W of power drawn from 2x 6L6GCMS tubes. The Clean channel delivers crystal-clear sound images with a bell-like response. The Treble control can be used to activate a Gain boost for subtly breaking Old School crunch. The Gain channel has a tight response and differentiated distortion that skilfully implements driving riffs and shredded solos alike.

I own many amp Heads most of them Hi class tube amps, and through years I have played many others! This one is a REAL MONSTER if you compare the size and the price (Value for money 100%)!!! I can't drop down even one star as you can't ask for more at this price!!!! I could say its more of a Heavy sound amp but it have so clear clean channel (especially the booster at treble knob is making it pure crystal) that you can plug any overdrive pedal and take a different characters of overdrive or distortion sounds! And don't let full you the 15w power that it suppose it is .... it sounds much Louder and can stand almost the same next to a 100w head (the result is Unreal). So far I have played it and test it with the following cabs: Marshall 1960 4x12, Blackstar series one 4x12, Marshall 1912 1x12, Marshall JVM 2000 2x12, Mesa Boogie 1x12 electrovoice speacker.
Furthermore it looks very cool with blue and red lights!!!
Thank you PRS and Mark Tremonti for this little Miracle!

When I received this Little Amp head, I was surprised at the Big, Warm Sound coming through this amp. Even at half power, the amp is so powerful. The Clean channel is the best I have heard so far on a Small Lunchbox amp. The Dirty channel can perform Class Rock or really Heavy Metal without any problem. Best value for the money so far. (Best run through a 12" speaker cabinet)
