Typical PRS Construction

Built around PRS's signature 25" scale, S2 Custom 22 features a mahogany body with solid maple top and a glued mahogany neck. While the relatively strong Pattern Regular profile ensures the best playing characteristics, the coveted Bird inlays mark the layers between the 22 frets of the rosewood fingerboard.

85/15 "S" Pickups and PRS Hardware

With two PRS 85/15 "S" pickups, the S2 Custom 22 delivers a broadband, modern hi-fi sound at the guitar amp. With lively dynamics and the optimal balance of low and high frequencies, the humbuckers turn out to be an all-rounder for almost every style of music. The sound spectrum is also enriched by the coil-split sounds with authentic single-coil character.
