The PRS S2 Special Semi Hollow Faded Gray Black Blue Burst combines the familiar PRS feel with the distinctive character of semi hollow construction. The body of the S2 Special Semi Hollow is crafted from mahogany with a maple top and an F hole, giving the instrument a warm and airy acoustic quality. Joined to this is a mahogany neck with a pattern regular profile, fitted with a twenty two fret rosewood fingerboard featuring the iconic bird inlays. The PRS S2 Special Semi Hollow achieves remarkable tonal versatility through its trio of pickups and expanded switching options. Two PRS fifty eight fifteen LT Low Turns humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions can be switched individually into coil split mode via the two mini switches, while a PRS Narrowfield pickup in the middle position adds further tonal variety. As expected, the instrument relies entirely on in house hardware solutions, including a PRS Patented Tremolo and six PRS Phase Three locking tuners. The guitar arrives complete with a gig bag.
