The PRS S2 Studio Faded Gray Black Purple Burst is a true workhorse for the living room, stage and recording sessions, delivering versatile sound and practical features. Its construction follows the classic PRS formula, featuring a mahogany body with a two-piece flamed maple top and a 'Pattern Regular' mahogany neck. The pickup configuration provides the right tone for every application, with two PRS Narrowfield pickups in the neck and middle positions complemented by a PRS 58/15 LT humbucker on the bridge. The LT stands for Low Turns, reflecting fewer coil windings that give the humbucker a balanced output. The bridge pickup can also be switched to coil-split mode using the push/pull tone control, delivering airy, clear single-coil sounds when desired. The PRS S2 Studio Faded Gray Black Purple Burst is rounded off by a PRS patented tremolo and six Phase III tuners with a practical locking function. A gig bag is included, making it ready for stage, studio or practice right out of the case.
