With the Angelus series, the renowned guitar manufacturer Paul Reed Smith proves that in addition to premium electric guitars, acoustic western guitars can also be produced at a good price-performance ratio. The design with Bird inlays on the fingerboard and the typical PRS headstock is strongly based on the successful electric guitars. The flat neck profile also ensures a soft and pleasant playing feel and also allows faster single-note solos to be played without any problems. In addition, a solid spruce top, with a laminated rosewood body, delivers a powerful and balanced sound with even sustain. This makes this Grand Auditorium suitable for light strumming and fingerstyle. Last but not least, a suitcase is already included.

Simple but effective: The PRS in-house pickups

The PRS in-house pickup is a classic under-saddle pickup. A quartz rod under the bridge insert reacts to the different pressure conditions when the strings are struck and converts this resonance into an electrical signal. The volume and tone can be adjusted via two rotating wheels at the upper end of the sound hole. With this puristic technical equipment, the acoustic resonance is largely preserved.
