PRS SE SVN "Seven" RW (Black Cherry)

The PRS SE SVN “Seven” RW (Black Cherry) is a limited edition version of the popular 7-string “Seven” series electric Guitars which adds visual accents to the Maple neck and fingerboard. The PRS SE SVN also features a lengthened 26.5" scale for tight sounds and a Mahogany body with a stylish Maple top, 2x modern-tuned PRS 85/15 "S" pick-ups which provide a punchy and clean sound. The PRS SE SVN is topped off with a PRS designed plate-style bridge as well as precision PRS Die-Cast tuners.

When designing the PRS SE SVN, Paul Reed Smith paid particular attention to achieving a clean sound and a high level of comfort. Thus, this instrument has an extended 26.5" scale length (673mm) for a tighter string tension, and a Maple neck with visual accents and "Wide Thin" profile for optimum playability. The Mahogany body and Maple top is finished with a sleek flame Maple veneer.

The pick-ups chosen for the PRS SE SVN are a pair of PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers for 7-string guitars. Designed with a modern sound character in mind, the pick-ups reproduce bass and treble in a particularly balanced way, so that even with maximum gain and a cavernously low dropped tuning, a tight sound and crisp response comes through. The tone control of the classic 3-way circuit also has a push/pull switch which splits the humbucker to a single coil.

The PRS SE SVN is topped off with extremely reliable hardware in a classic Nickel finish. The PRS designed plate-style string-through-body Bridge and the help ensure a crisp and even response. The flat design also provides a comfortable support surface for palm-muting and similar playing techniques, while 7x separately adjustable saddles guarantee optimal adjustment of intonation and string position even with the most extreme drop-tuning. PRS designed die cast tuners on the headstock ensure exact and stable tuning.
